The day we went to the flea market

C.A.R.E. appeared at the Pine St. Flea Market on May 8, 2010. It was a great success! We got to meet new friends and neighbors, and we were able to talk to people about spaying and neutering their pets. We were thrilled to see that so many people in the community share our mission--so many people realize the importance of spaying and neutering to reduce the overpopulation of animals.

We also were able to bring some adoptable C.A.R.E. cats, and they were a great hit--especially Panda--who stole the show all day long. We had a nice day--perfect weather and great conversation with the new people we met. We truly look forward to going to the market next year. We wish to thank everyone who contributed to our cause, and we hope that you might consider coming to some future C.A.R.E. events. Please also remember that the cats we brought with us are still available for adoption. You will find Panda, Simon, and Theodore on Petfinder.com. You can go to our page there directly from this blog. The kitties did great the day of the flea market. They didn't mind being outside with lots of people looking at them and petting them. They only wish they could have found forever homes!
